I started watching “the Vampire diaries” a while ago and at first it was ok, but the last 2 seasons were soooo girly: too much “background” music and it seemed as if life in that little town was all about prom and dances and parties. I decided to quit watching this one.
To my surprise they now started a spin-off called “the originals”, or should I say “rip-off” ? No way I’m going to watch that one. I read it’s even more of the same thing that pushed me away from the oririginal show.
I added 2 of your list to my queue: the hundred en the tomorrow people.
Damn you, I was trying to watch less shows, not more.

Hi Rob, “The Originals” is even the second spin-off of Vampire Diaries 🙂 The first one was “The Secret Circle”. By the way I missed a lot of new shows in my original post, so maybe you can even add more shows 🙂 Based on your other choices “Almost Human” and “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” might be something for you.
